Rooted in the Word: Our 2025 Foundation
We began the year by seeking God’s presence in a dedicated prayer retreat. As a team of four, we each received a guiding word - Abide, Restore, Obey, and Endure - anchored in Scripture. These words are shaping the foundation of everything we do in 2025 as we walk in obedience, seek restoration, and abide in Christ while reaching new areas and forming life-transforming partnerships. In February, we joined the OneHope Regional Meeting alongside teams from Malawi, Lesotho, Madagascar, Zambia, South Africa, and Zimbabwe. We were honored by the presence of Africa Vice President Dr. Rev. John Walada and Project Manager Samson Tassa from Togo. The meeting deepened unity and sharpened our shared vision through the “In Common” framework, focused on: Growing engagement Qualified leadership Quality resources Relevant models Vision for empowerment. This aligns with our commitment to Vision 2033: To catalyze a global church movement that engages every child, in every generation, with Jesus through His Word.
Strategic growth: Building strong foundations
To support our mission locally, we are developing our Five S’s for organizational growth. Clear STRATEGY, Strong STRUCTURES, Updated SYSTEMS, Relevant SKILLS & Right STAFF. In line with this, we welcomed our first full-time staff member, Genoveva John, after her year and a half as an intern. Genoveva is based at River of Life Church, Greystone Park, three days a week, overseeing logistics and reporting systems. Our strategy is not to replace church work but to strengthen and equip churches to raise a missional generation. At the grassroots level, we are expanding our support network through financial giving, prayer partnerships, and volunteer engagement. Training highlights: January and February
In January, we trained approximately 150 leaders from over 20 churches. The sessions focused on safeguarding, encouraging churches to care holistically for children - physically, spiritually, emotionally, and mentally. Accountability honours God and strengthens our communities. In February, 20 leaders from 15 churches and para-church organizations gathered to strategize around Catalyse Clubs - teen-led discipleship groups. We introduced two key resources: Youth Discipleship Roundtable Lead Today (leadership principles) & Called to Thrive (entrepreneurship and practical projects). We're praying for growth and traction in this youth-focused discipleship model.
Love Zimbabwe Festivals
We’re excited to be part of the Love Zim Festival preparations with Luis Palau Ministries. Our team visited Chinhoyi and Kadoma for vision casting, and we are committed to supporting long-term discipleship after each evangelistic event.
Resource boost and ministry goals
We’ve received a new shipment of discipleship resources from our partner OneHope, which will help us expand outreach and equip the local church.

A call to faithful partnership
Dr. John Walada reminded us: “Count success by what is left to be done, not just by what has been done.” That is a bold challenge - but God is faithful, and we are stepping out in courage. Join us in this mission of hope and transformation. Growth requires change. Change requires courage. Please pray with and for us, and partner as God leads. Prayer points; Praise for the growing hunger among churches to strengthen children and youth ministry. Thanks for the safe arrival of donated discipleship materials. Pray for pastors to embrace the vision of raising a missional generation. Pray for the upcoming Love Zimbabwe Festivals. Pray for the multiplication of Catalyze Clubs nationwide.
